Is a workshop right for my team?

Workshops are designed for teams who want to apply the Six Types of Working Genius.

Workshops are not speeches, seminars, or lunch-and-learns. They are live and in-depth facilitated experiences. They are best for teams of 3-20 that regularly work together.

How do workshops work?

First, you’ll schedule a call with me; just shoot me an email at Nathan@workinggenius.eu. As a Certified Working Genius Trainer I am an expert in working with teams. I will get to know you and better understand your situation, your pain points and desired outcomes. Then we will find a date for the workshop. Workshops are available in two formats, 2 hours long or 4 hours long. Workshops include some pre-work, including the Working Genius Assessment for each team member. A few weeks after the workshop I will check-in to see how the implementation is going and answer any questions you may have.

Are workshops virtual or in person?

Both are options. Because we are human, live workshops are more advantageous due to the atmosphere of interaction and energy created in the room. That being said, virtual is also doable and you will find I am amazing at engaging teams on Zoom.

Are the assessments and workshops available in other languages?

The Assessment is available in English, German, and Spanish and the subsequent Assessment Report can be downloaded in those languages as well. My Workshops are available in English and German.

Is this just another personality profile assessment?

Nope. Working Genius is the only tool of its kind that is actually applied directly to work. Most personality instruments help people better understand how they are wired, but fail to explain how that fits together with others in the process of work. Working Genius solves this problem.

Not only do individuals walk away with a greater understanding of the type of work that makes them thrive personally, but Working Genius provides teams with a better way to think about their team dynamics, projects, meetings and even their hiring.

Since each type of Working Genius is embodied by people, it reveals personality as well. Therefore, Working Genius is part personality assessment and part productivity tool for teams (the creators say it is 20% personality assessment and 80% productivity tool). Is this going to take up a lot of my time?

If you are in management, a CEO, or a team leader, you don’t have a lot of time. The good news is, Working Genius is not time consuming. The pre-Assessment takes only 10-12 minutes and provides a huge amount of individual clarity. The subsequent team workshop is available in a 2 hour or 4 hour format which means in a short amount of time, you you receive high-impact value. Since there’s a direct connection to your daily work, the application is simple and powerful.

I am a nonprofit founder, an author, a speaker, a coach and a trainer with 15+ years of experience working with teams. Born and raised in Springfield, Illinois, I completed a B.A. in Business and Entrepreneurship on the oceanfront in San Diego, California, before venturing to Vienna, Austria in 2007, where I currently live with my wife and two boys.
